Lipitor (Liptor):
Liptor Drug (Generic Atorvastatin) is a class of inhibitor drugs used for the treatment to lower the cholesterol present in the patient. This medicine controls the chemical released by the enzyme (as according to the function of the enzyme) present in the kidney.
It helps hepatic arteries to supply blood to the liver that repair the path ways to metabolize. This reduces the level of cholesterol which inversely lowers the LDL cholesterol.
It reduces the risk of heart problems caused due to age, excess smoking and even can erase hereditary issues of heart problem.
This medicine prevents the negative impact of stain that blocks the enzyme to produce cholesterols in the liver and the liver absorbs the cholesterol from the blood which decreases the level of cholesterol in the blood.
Precaution:
Lipitor medicine can be used if the patient does not have liver problem.
Ensure proper diet and exercise be maintained so as to let the medicine work effectively.
Do not eat food which has high fats for it may not be possible to eradicate all the cholesterol from the body.
If you have a problem like muscle disease, consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
Cholesterol lowering drugs are another way to curb your cholesterol levels. If you have high cholesterol, the number one risk is heart attack and stroke. Today, we have a rise in high cholesterol; mainly as a result of unhealthy diets. The lack of exercise and huge portion sizes have contributed heavily to this. Normally the remedy for high cholesterol would be to change one's diet to a more health friendly. In cases where cholesterol is way too high, one needs the help of cholesterol lowering drugs to give them the edge they need to fight it.
The one thing all cholesterol lowering drugs have is that they are all statins. Statins help control a specific enzyme in the body in charge of producing cholesterol. In case you are wondering, yes our bodies produce our own cholesterol. Our livers produce only the cholesterol we need. The excess comes from external sources (food).
Popular cholesterol drugs are Lipitor, Zocor, Crestor, Pravachol, Mevacor, and Lescol. All of these drugs are effective in lowering cholesterol levels; it really depends on the person because everyone gets different results. These drugs are the most recommended by doctors partly because of the reason that they have the least side effects.
